Install OpenClaw Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms
By creating an account on installopenclaw.io or using any Install OpenClaw service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Description of service
Install OpenClaw provides software and tooling for deploying, managing, and monitoring autonomous AI agents on infrastructure you control. We supply the management layer; you supply the server. We do not host, process, or store the data your agents handle.
3. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Install OpenClaw for any purpose that is unlawful, that infringes the rights of others, or that could damage, disable, or impair our services. You are solely responsible for the actions your AI agents perform and the content they generate. Using the platform to distribute malware, conduct unauthorized network scanning, or facilitate fraud is strictly prohibited.
5. Data ownership
You retain full ownership of all data processed by agents running on your infrastructure. Install OpenClaw claims no rights to that data. Account information you provide to us such as your name, email, and billing details is used only as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Payment and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. All fees are stated in US dollars and are non-refundable except where required by law or as outlined in a specific promotional offer. We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days written notice. If payment fails, we may suspend your access to paid features after a reasonable grace period.
7. Open-source components
Portions of the Install OpenClaw agent runtime are released under open-source licenses. Those components are governed by their respective license terms. Nothing in these Terms of Service restricts rights granted to you under an applicable open-source license.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Install OpenClaw shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to these terms is limited to the amount you paid us during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time for any reason. Upon termination your access to the Install OpenClaw management dashboard will end, but all data on your server remains yours. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to support data export before access is removed.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
